One of the blessings of PCa as opposed to most other cancers, is that PC tends to be a slow mover (with some exceptions), so a few weeks of delay or longer are generally encouraged of newbies--take the time to get educated about options.

That being said, there seems to be tremendous variability across the country (world) about what is available and where. I suspect that if a man is newly diagnosed, the specifics of the case could lead to serious consideration of options. There are reports on here of men who were, for example, in the middle of a radiation sequence being allowed to complete their treatment course. One could see that with the elimination of much surgery at hospitals that the urologic surgeons are also on break--which would be potentially good news to the radiation oncologists.

I would certainly be encouraging to men who are newly diagnosed in this time to take the time to research.

My advice would be the same as it would be if there were no COVID issue. Make an effort to understand your sitiuation, because every situation is different. And then make a determination if you are one of those who has time to make a decision, or if you are one of the minority who really needs to make a decision and take action soon.
I'd also advise, dont freak out, COVID or not, you are not in immenent danger of losing your life, even if you are in the monority, with a dangerous, aggressive grade of PCa. Try to be methodical, educate yourself, then advocate for yourself
