Zombie Apocalypse

We are the zombies...ripping and clawing each other to pieces for this and that...a piece of the action here...some 'free press" there...rip a mask...take em to task...blood letting...blood setting...get it out...get it out...go a head...perfect storm...troopers here troopers there...leaders where...cowering in fear...tho ready to cheer as tides shift without a moon...nothing cleansing...too soon,,,to late...preying at heavens gate....the bold of spirit rising slowly...center holding over bodies molding...profits killing prophets....first to go for generations beyond to sow reasons of past seasons...no one listens...shine it off at least it glistens...as poisons boil in cisterns that seethes...retweets into murky air of people wheezing...much less breathing...umm...have a nice day oh and don't forget to pray...look...a way...its ok its ok drip drip

The fact of the matter is that we actually are in the midst of a Zombie Apocalypse right now. Sort of.

Except that the "zombies" aren't dead humanoids lumbering slowly around, looking for brains to gobble up, and only a few hundreds or a few thousands of them in number.

Oh no, the "zombies" out there that I'm talking about are as tiny as they can be, number probably in the hundreds of billions worldwide, and move around as rapidly as a cough or a sneeze.

But while the chilling fear of film zombies is artificial, even amusing, and ends with the movie, fear of the COVID Apocalypse and the coronazombies it has brought into our world is very, very real, and with us every day.

If this is a case of life imitating art, I'm sure we all wish that life would go find something else to imitate. And quickly.

When I tried to write poetry, it read like a guy trying too hard to write poetry. When you write poetry, it reads like it was created by a poet. I wish I had your talent.

screw syntax...proper this and proper that...you call it poetry which it surely is...who writes poetry like that...but you consider it poetry...because you feel the words...the impropriety of it all...the freedom it enlists...look at me go right now...a talent yes...the flip of one...render unto it...it is you...who else could it be....oh and as we say in surfing...its all about "time in the water">>>>>>>>>>>>>>someone once told me it is never what one says that folks remember it is how one makes one feel...alas I am not perfect(thank god) and the sword cuts both ways...to feel...to feel...that is what is real....
