ADT and COVID19

Wow it would be an interesting study and poll to see how many guys would be willing to get a shot of ADT if they really knew the Side Effects of Lupron versus covid-19? Or just take your chances with the covid? I know what I would answer.

I'm getting my 6 month shot next month. Gonna hit all the bars and party like it's 1975! Oh wait....my thing don't party anymore. Oh well...at least I still have great ideas.

Got a chance to listen to the Doctors Radio Show from New York University Hospital for a few minutes yesterday. Again they were talking about how they have seen how obesity has been a big factor in the fatality rate. They also talked about the blood clotting issue that the Dr.'s have been seeing with this virus. When I first turned it on they were talking about estrogen in Women and how this was affecting the clotting problems. Does anybody know if the tiny amounts of estrogen that men have increase when we go on ADT? Most of us guys that have been on ADT seem to battle the table muscle around the mid section I know I do. Having the grandson around with 2 hollow legs and Grandma cooking home made delicious meals it's become a major battle for me. There is a lot of belief that most of us will without a vaccine test positive for Covid-19 at some time so I told the wife she has to start cutting down the portions. I did really good the first year on Lupron but by time the second year started not so good. As the testosterone level gets to 0 and the SE's increase some days it's hard to push oneself to even get out and go for a walk. So ADT might give us a little more protection in fighting the Virus but at the same time might hurt us in fighting the battle of the bulge. mmmmm sounds like darned if you do and darned if you don't. JMHO
