Giving back...

I was treated with brachytherapy at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto ten years ago — much helped along the way by this forum. Got my tenth year test results a few days ago. Here’s how things unfolded:

One last little poke there last year — and now I think i can tell myself this is probably over. I can’t say it has left me unaffected but I can say that there is good reason for hope in dealing with this. Thank you to this community for being here, and best of luck to you, too.

Tremendous. Good for you. Shows that with radiation treatment the two keys are downward PSA trend and patience. Glad you have both. Best Wishes.

That's wonderful. I think that guys who are starting RT should study your trend. Overall, it is downward, but not steadily so. There are a number of bounces, after each of which the downward trend reasserted itself. I suppose each bounce gave you a feeling of dread.

Looks like a classic RT success. A long slow downwards trend with a few bumps.

Wow, getting the PSA into 'undetectable' range is fantastic, and not all that common after radiation therapy, I think.
Mine isn't anywhere there after seven years...
