Kidney donation after PCA

I had successful PCA surgery in 7 years ago. Undetectable PSA ever since. Anyone know if I am eligible to be a living kidney donor?

Even so, I'm interested if anyone here has actual experiences in this area.

I do not know the answer to this, but FWIW I was eligible to be a bone marrow donor for my brother. But the caveat was it was only because we were related--I couldn't have signed onto the bone marrow registry. (I was also too old, as I recall.)

It's great that you're considering doing this!

i have a friend who was on the list for a liver transplant and he was offered a liver that was infected with hepatitis c, and he took it
