Ii was so happy to get my latest lab results, I thought I would share. I am a G10, as far as I know, the only G10 on the board without mets. Quick recap, diagnosed in 12/17, went through triple play of EBRT, LDR Brachy and 2 years of Lupron. My last 6 month Lupron shot was 8/19, so I am now 6 months clear of ADT. Testosterone is over 337 (after near 0) and PSA is still undetectable. Yay !

I second your "Yay" !!

As far as the 10 without mets who is active here, can I be your sidekick? My biopsy was a G10, but I was downgraded to G9 (4+5) after my RP.

@DjinTonic - I didnt realize you were originally diagnosed G10 ! With your always thoughtful input you can certainly be my sidekick !

I vividly remember my uro walking in to the visit room (his nurse had told me on the phone only that the biopsy was positive and to schedule a visit to discuss). His first words after the handshake were "As you know, we grade PCa with the Gleason scale from least serious, a 6, up to a 10, and, unfortunately, yours came back a 10."

I had 2 positive cores out of 14, one G10 (5+5) at 50% and one G9 (4+5) at 5%. Interestingly, the several cores taken in the new nodule my doc had felt and which in part motivated this biopsy were all negative. The post-op path report showed the PCa was bilateral; however, prostate involvement was only 5%.

DaysBetween, that is some seriously good news! Though I am a mere G9, I am always tickled to read of other high risk guys good news. Thanks for posting!
