After Lupron, Docetaxel, Zytiga, & Xtandi Now LU-177?

Wondering who's had recent experience with LU-177, either on the trials on after treks to Australia or Germany.
My brief story (sometimes my profile doesn't appear). My DX was July 2017 at age 62, with PSA of 35. I tried some natural routes for two months, and when PSA hit 58, started the proper treatments: Casodex, Lupron got PSA to 6, then six treatments of Docetaxel beginning Feb 2018-May 2018 got PSA to 0.7. Began Zytiga (playing offense with this thing) Sept 2018. Stayed on Zytiga 19 months, when the last six months showed gradual increase of PSA to 2.7. Started Xtandi April 2020 but PSA continued to rise over 4 months to 7.2. Xtandi isn't working for me.
Saw both Onco docs this month and choices are LU-177--wait till next year when available in US, try to find a trial, or mortgage the house and go to Australia or Germany for treatments--or take a chance on Nubeqa, a sister drug of Xtandi.
Most of the info I've seen on LU-177 comes from 2-3 year-old posts or of closed trials. Anyone have experience with LU-177? Thank you all! Steve

I recently completed the Vision Trial and received 6 rounds of LU-177 spaced 6 weeks apart..At first, the results were dramatic..After the first 3 treatments, my PSA had gone from 2300 to 185. But that was as low as it went..After the infusions stopped, my PSA began to quickly rise again..But over all, lets say it gave me another year..The better your PMSA expression, the better LU-177 works..Many of the men in the trial were unable to tolerate all 6 treatments and they dropped out early, either because it was not working or they had heavy side-effects..I received the most benefit after 3 treatments..

Thanks all. The LU177 sounds like a very expensive short term solution, but I’ll hope it becomes available early in 2021. My docs have only mentioned but not recommended Xofigo and Provenge on my path so far. I will mention this to them via email tomorrow. Thanks also for the trial search link!

Thanks, Cyclone. Always appreciate your insights throughout this site. Early on, perhaps through the "grace" of insurance coverage, I found that the "quarterback" I wished to draft was at Prostate Oncology Specialists (POS) in Marina Del Rey--a world class operation seeing only prostate cancer patients. So I went to Keck USC in Newport Beach to meet with another onco doc and for all my treatments (20 minutes from home) while keeping Dr. Lam as my consultant. I consult with both, often monthly, especially now, and they know about my team strategy.

The advice you offer here--to have a specialist quarterback your medical team--is invaluable. I can't even imagine, after 3 1/2 years on this journey, having it any other way. Thanks again.
