I just got back from my semi-annual check-up with my uro. Saw my RO a week or so ago.
I am now 4 1/2 years out from CyberKnife treatment for G3+4=7 PCa.
My PSA is stable for the last 2 tests at 0.96, and my T level is at 569 (normal range is 300-1100). I give CyberKnife credit for the PSA at my current nadir, and I give the pharmacy credit for my T level, as I have been on TRT (topical gel) before, during and after my treatment.
I do have the side effects I was warned about. Urinary flow is as it was before treatment. A bit slow, some start/stop, but fully tolerable. ED as it was before, too, which is worse than I would like. The only real difference is the now total loss of ejaculate, which at age 73, doesn't matter at all.
So, I am still a happy camper. I see my uro every 6 months. I could go to annually, but I prefer to keep a closer watch on blood test results. I see my RO a year from now, at which time, if all goes as it has, I will no longer be in her care.
So, many thanks to all the family here, and to some who are no longer here (for various reasons). Without the advice and guidance I received here, I would probably still be around, but might not be as comfortable as I am with how I got here.
