BB388, I was in radiation treatment during the Covid lockdown last spring and in my weekly meeting with the rad onc we spoke more about covid than anything.
He said that dr’s were sharing all kinds of information informally using electronic means much like these boards but with membership restricted to those in the profession.
So I am sure these things you are passionate about and more are part of the knowledge used to deal with the virus.

Back on topic, I’ve heard from more than a few friends and relatives , in the last 6 months or so, that they have been advised by their doctors to take daily vitamin D, C and Zinc supplements to strengthen defenses against Covid.
......................................................................................................
Yes, as I mentioned earlier, that is what I have been hearing more and more of in the last few months. I already gave several examples. Y’all have just added some more. I just got back from a HS reunion over in GA. An old classmate pulled me aside and wanted to ask me some specifics about
vitamin C. I will need to ask him the details why his doctors told him this. I can’t remember if he said he had Covid, or just had the crud, or just got this advice at a routine office visit.
But his doc told him to take C, D, zinc and quercetin. That is the same thing my buddy over in Asheville NC said all his ex co workers at the surgery center told him THEY were doing(no word on if they were telling their patients). Including taking the Quercetin which works like hydroxychloroquine: gets the zinc out of the blood and into the cells where it can fight the virus, any virus.
So here is the thing: in addition to the super highly qualified critical docs I have mentioned who have been treating their patients with these substances, more and more of our local doctors- if quietly- are starting to recommend this approach to their patients, particularly when their patients come to them with Covid or simply sick with any respiratory infection.
Apparently this good news is actually happening. To this good news I say: “Praise the Lord”! Even if it is happening long after I started raving here over a year ago about
Covid and long before that regarding flu and colds- this is still wonderful news for all those we love. The odds are huge that this new approach by docs will save many lives.
But, it is still not all perfect. Docs, some at least, are doing this somewhat confidentially, once their patients come to them for conventional treatment for whatever reason. It may not be approved by the authorities yet, but these docs can read studies even better than we can, and they know or HIGHLY suspect it will help a lot, and they know the downside is far less than any prescript
ion drug.
So they are acting without approval from on high, and that is wonderful. But, if what they are doing is actually helpful, then how great is the probable help to mankind
if the medical and governmental authorities would admit that, rather than saying there is NOTHING that can help other than the vaccine, that people should be either taking care of these things the minute they get sick or better yet BEFORE they get sick?Does it seem stupid of me to think the these things would be more effective if already on board boosting the immune system from the second we are exposed to the virus?
After all, even with IV vitamin C, critical care doctor Paul Marik insists that early is key, that it is started the minute he gets his hands on them. I can’t think of any reason on earth the same would not apply to building blood levels into the high but safe zone BEFORE contact with the virus and especially BEFORE needing a doctor. And that is what Fauci et all should have announced to the world long ago, IMO. I wonder how much these things, along with dirt cheap nebulized low concentration hydrogen peroxide, might help those poor people dying in India RIGHT NOW, all pretty much severely deficient in these nutrients and still without a vaccine? It might save millions of lives, certainly many thousands. It is possible, and very unlikely to hurt anything.
I hate it if me saying that angers anyone. But I don't think it should anger you. Facts are facts. The studies and plenty of clinical experience indicate those are the facts.
