Hello, Jeff and Stephanie ---
Take heart in knowing you are doing all you can.
I love your philosophy for daily living --- focusing on the positive --- finding the blessings to be found in the day --- and living "above and beyond" a health diagnosis.
As you know, I am also on ZYTIGA --- now the generic version, in fact.
I don't personally feel that the brief time that Jeff was taken off of the medication is worrisome. It was just for two days, during Jeff's recent brain surgery ---- AND was done while under his medical team's care.
Today is your doctor appointment. I always think carefully about which topics and questions I wish to cover with my doctor. If it helps ---- write them down.
I see my primary oncologist each month --- with that contancy and regularity, I usually have just a couple of questions to ask each time, these days.
But --- when I was first diagnosed, I had several questions to cover at each consultation.
Occasionally, I have a question that arises before my next appointment. For those situations, I can send a question to my oncologist through my patient medical portal. He does an excellent job of replying, in a timely manner.
I always follow your posts, Jeff and Stephanie. Let us know how your appointment goes today. Ask questions that are on your mind. Continue to build that trusted bond and rapport with your medical team.
I have been thinking about you both, each day.
Team "Healing Well" is right here --- and we are here to support you, every step of the way. We all stand alongside each other ---- and no one here fights alone.
We all draw STRENGTH, COURAGE, FORTITUDE, and INSPIRATION from each other.
Handshake, fellowship, camaraderie ~~~
