Melaine - I have not found a way to do this, even with suggestions about cut/pasting longer profiles which must have worked at one time.
An internet link like alephnul suggested works if you want to tell a story, otherwise, you have to be brief and to the point with abbreviations. Every letter, number, & space counts and the limit appears to be around 400.
As an example with your signature:
DH @ 50, DRE+
PSA 1.2->1.7 in 3 mos
Bx: 3/12 cores, G3+4 (50%)
Bone scan clean, MRI-1.1 cm lesion left base
RALP 2014: G3+4, -EPE; -SVI; +PNI; +SM(intraprostatic); N0 (1 LN tested)
This cut the characters from 399 -> 176 so room to add stuff or make more readable. Most of the folks here understand all the abbreviations so you can use them to save space.
I found that I kept doing this as I went along as some things became less important and later items seemed more important (in my mind). I tried to keep a time line in my signature since it seemed more clear for a quick look. It eats up space so I compromised in other ways. Just figured out what needs to be said and wrote it as concisely as possible. Next time it doesn't fit, I will edit again.
