Two Months Post SBRT

It has been a long journey. I decided to post anew since I've not posted in a while.
First diagnosed in 2019 with 6 core positive for Gleason 6 next biopsy showed 8 core with one being upgraded to G7 upon second opinion.
Started IMRT but developed retention which led to paraphimosis that got nasty fast. I then came to the conclusion that SBRT would work best because I have severe pain issues that made lying on my back torturous.
Anyway, it has been 2 months and most everything as returned to normal.
Post Greenlight laser treatment my urine flow was better than it had been in years. SBRT has hampered that a bit and was pretty bad for a while. It has since returned to better flow but not as good as after the Greenlight.
I'd say I'm 90% of normal with some frequency and mild discomfort in the prostate area when sitting.
I see the doctor Thursday via Zoom and imagine at some point PSA tests will begin.
not sure how many or how often but I guess that is how the measure success of the treatment.
I plan to stick around the forum to state my case as well as offer help and hope to newcomers.

Yes looking at other's signature's I see they list PSA over time.
I have to remain patient because I have no choice as this is the process.

Same to you Cyclone. I am feeling good about the results and the healing. As I said I'm about 90% of normal.

I feel a need to add off topic about my best friend. I suppose it offers a cautionary tale for those who are on the fence over vaccines.
My best and closest friend went on a trip with his wife to Aruba. He did not get vaccinated and must have had a forged card to be able to fly. He caught covid and because he has asthma, he had severe complications including three strokes, bleeding in his brain and other problems. He had to be airlifted back to NY State and that took three days because they are so busy.
Anyway, he is going to need to be on a ventilator long term and they will insert a feeding tube along with the ventilator into his lower throat.

I'm beside myself with concern. I sent a voice text telling him that I God and I love him and feel so hopeless as I cannot even visit him.
I know this may break forum rules so I'll not write about it anymore-I just thought it may help someone down the line to know how serious this is.

Lol We are just cranky because our parts warrant's are running out. New hip, need knee and elbow then what's next?
