Max Parrot of Canada was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2018. He received 12 treatments of chemotherapy and got back to snowboarding in 2019. He just won gold for Canada in the Olympics. For any and all with cancer. Keep up the faith and never give up the fight. Again, thanks to all for this forum and encouragement to do just that. My best wishes to all.

Post script:

I joined the first wave of prostate cancer patients who participated in the "early chemotherapy plan" when it first became recommended, following clinical trials.

I was the first fellow at my clinic to pursue the early chemotherapy approach. That was back in 2014. My oncologist was a GODSEND --- and helped me navigate through the series of infusions.

I have to believe those treatments paid dividends, in my case. It wasn't always a "Sunday walk in the park" -- but I believe it helped me greatly.

Cyclone, you and the other veterans are certainly not amateur fighters of this disease. Your long journeys would place all of you in the professional fighter division. The goal I would presume would be to go all 15 rounds without getting knocked out, keep going and help others to keep fighting. We amateurs can’t thank all of you enough. Best wishes.
