Todd my Brother F.A.M.
Good to hear from you. That's what you get for retiring, being able to sit back and ponder such dilemmas. I thought studies showed a low fat and high carb breakfast and two pills may be the same as four pills in empty stomach. Oh crud, may have opened up a can of worms here now. All I know for sure is I am too too fat! Hard for me to do a low fat diet. Found one reference a while back to a Univ. of Chicago study about the one pill, low fat. Surely others will enlighten us with more specific clinical studies. Like the Doctors pay attention to them anyway! I think each must find to trust their own path. Need more time to study it! Need to retire like you, Todd
I was on a forced Zytiga (A.A.) vacation as I had an insurance mix up(forgot to pay my Medicare bill, I blame my Brain fog). Now on autopay. So I missed almost three weeks until I was re-instated. My Onc said my last dose stayed in my system at least 1 to 2 weeks. Fortunately I found a couple of people that helped me out if you know what I mean. Still keeping the 4 pills a day until doc says change. Still undetectable, and my liver is tolerating it.
Anyway wasn't it a couple years ago you went on a Zytiga vacation? Your profile here is about that old...not that you are by any means. Update, update... How long was your prescribed vacation? Did you get a lot of energy back during that time? I had the opposite, seemed I had less energy, or I'm just getting old fast.
Looking forward to retirement Sept 1 of 2022, so I can sit back and ponder life. Todd, we've come a long, long way from Diagnosis . Praying and hoping that everyone with PC will also behaving a long, long journey, and the cost of these dang pill will come down to a smaller and smaller price.
Have a nice GFMPH in Nawlleans next month.
As always keep the Faith
