Quit LUPRON?

Hi. I have a question.
It's been a while so I start with my specifics: diagnosed 7/14/2020, Gleason 8 6/12 cores positive pre treatment PSA 35. Second opinion by Epstine/ Lotan at JH who graded Gleason 6. 51/2 weeks of radiation and 24 months of 4 month LUPRON injections.
Here's the question. I started ADT August of 2020 - 6 shots. Shot #5 was January my urologist changed to a 6 month shot. My last injection was supposed to be April now it's July.
Since my lupron treatment was to be completed in August why would I need to have that shot in July?

Maybe he wants to see what my PSA is first. ( it has been <.01 since January 2021)
