So, how long do you think it would take for Lupron to affect the PSA levels?
Is it like a few days type of thing, or a few weeks, or a few months?
Same question for Testosterone.

Lupron will start dropping your PSA within a few weeks. You won’t be tested that frequently to know exactly when. I went from 59 to undetectable in a couple of months based on the start of ADT and then a scheduled test. I was probably undetectable within a month but didn’t test then. Once your T is at castrate level the PSA usually plummets immediately.

In the first week or so psa actually rises, then suddenly drops.

I was given Lupron about
two months before my HDR Brachy and I went from 36.0 to 1.84 on the day of the HDR Brachy treatment at UT Southwestern-Dallas. I took 4 6-month shots ending on 03-21 and now it is down to <0.05. I was lucky I did not have a lot of SE from Lupron injections so everyone is different how it affects them. Hot flashes and arm soreness lasted only a few days and I had zero SE on the last jab less a day or so of soreness.
