Just wanted to give you folks an update.
Well, it's been around 6 months since the completion of my SBRT, 5 treatment administered by the Varian Edge machine at Buffet Cancer Center, part of the University of Nebraska Medicine compound.
My PSA today was 0.6 ng/mL. Down from 4.6. YAY! I go in for RO consultation next week.
Some side effects to mention. But not all bad. Occasional sensation while urinating, maybe not full emptying sometimes. Disclaimer, I do drink alcohol of various types. Sometimes less, but not too often ). But urgency not present.
No bowel issues, early on I did opt to take colace frequently for softer............
Ejaculation sensation is good. Not as much quantity. But otherwise OK.
I am pleased at the 0.6 PSA. PHEW
Thanks for all the advice and reader/poster experiences. It really helped me in my journey that began last September. I also know it will be a continuing one.
Grateful to the Lord
