I have a friend who found he had an elevated PSA (around 5) 2 years ago. Following a biopsy, low level G6, he opted for AS. He told me this morning that his PSA has been at 5.4 for a year, and his new Urologist--his previous Uro retired--is going to have him have an MRI instead of another biopsy. So, he counts as an AS success--and he credits me and my willingness to share my story with our church's men's group 4 years ago with his willingness to get the PSA done at all--and he's been sharing his AS journey with me with periodic updates since.
So, guys, please be out there as ambassadors to other men who need to get checked. These stories are out there...keep sharing!
