It’s been a while. I’m a caregiver for my father. He was diagnosed a little over 9years ago. Gleason 8, PSA 10. Treated with radiation and Lipton injection. A tuff start as the Lupron put him into a state of depression. Had to get off it. The past two tests, we have seen his PSA rise after many years of being undetectable. It’s now sitting at 1.9 with a follow upcoming in February. The RO says there a many treatment options to explore. He’s otherwise doing well. Now 82 years old, he’s doing alright. More concerned about his blood sugar levels and blood pressure for the time being. I see some people asking how people are after x number of years. Everyone is different. My dad is 9years in and just now looking into new treatment options. Wishing everyone the best. Stay positive. It’s one of the best treatments you have.
