Joel Nowak, Founder of Cancer ABC's, about PC

First, thanks Wings for this great video. Mr. Nowak sure is a wealth of info on all topics PC and self advocating to get the best results. I have a few questions concerning hormone therapy that maybe the Vets here can help me with. As stated in my profile, I am a GL-8 and had IMRT. Firmagon was discontinued because of a bad reaction. I was switched to Orgovyx which Mr. Nowak was moved to after being on Lupron for many years. My first question is, did my Uro start me on Orgovyx because I was a GL-8 and why not Lupron? I will finish Orgovyx in a month and a half. If my PSA starts to rise again, will I go back on Orgovyx or another form of ADT. Last question, right now is Orgovyx considered the last ADT drug I will take before I move on to other treatments? I know this is the cart before the horse, but after watching that video these questions popped up. Thanks in advance for any clarification on the different hormone treatments. My best to all.

I should add, given my history with Uro’s, I trust the the vets on this board more than I trust them.

Orgo tells your nuts to stop producing T, where Xtandi tells your body to not absorb T.

Alephnull, thank you so much for your reply. I am glad to see that both Orgovyx and Xtandi together have worked to bring down your PSA. I sort of guessed that after finishing Orgovyx if the PSA went back up, I would go back to it. It is good to know that the combination is there if I should need it as well.
