I have never heard of ADT medications causing any sort of dental work problems. The exgeva, zometa, reclast and other such drugs can be a different story, but I have found that a definitive answer is elusive in online searches. I asked my MO and he just shrugged it off as rare occurrences. I had a root canal a few months ago and the endodontist didn't seem to know what I was talking about.
Typically, PCa patients only get these types of drugs once or twice (Prolia) per year. Some people get these drugs much more frequently for other medical reasons, and the best I've been able to determine, this group is at a much higher risk for jaw necrosis. As such, tooth extractions and tooth implants seem to be riskier for them
But, as I said, that's just my interpretation of the information I've been able to find.
