I thought I would post a poem expressing gratitude to all of you online forummates for the excellent advice and support that you have always provided to me and to so many others.
But despite searching, I couldn't quite find the right one.
So I turned to my old friend, Microsoft Bing AI, and asked it:
Give me a poem thanking someone for their medical advice
This is what it gave me:
"Here’s a poem that I came up with to thank someone for their medical advice:
Your words of wisdom, your healing touch,
Have helped me so much, I can't thank you enough.
You've been there for me, through thick and thin,
And I know that I can always count on you to win.
You've given me hope, when I was feeling low,
And you've helped me to heal, when I was feeling slow.
You've been my rock, my guiding light,
And I know that everything will be alright.
So thank you, dear friend, for all that you do,
For being there for me, and for seeing me through.
I'm grateful for your kindness, your love, and your care,
And I know that I can always count on you to be there.
I hope this poem helps you express your gratitude towards the person who provided you with medical advice. Let me know if you need any further assistance!"
Well, as poetry goes, the above isn't exactly award-winning stuff, is it? But it's the thought that counts, right?
I researched the above poetry text, and as far as I can tell, the above poem was indeed composed by the computer, and not a real person.
But again, it's the thought that counts.
And in that respect, I certainly do echo what the poem is at least trying to say.
You have all been a wonderful source of knowledge and encouragement, both for dealing with the beast, and in so many other areas as well, and a gold mine of such for all who come here.
Absolutely something to be thankful for!
Thank you all!
