TV Business Personality discusses his Prostate Cancer Treatment.

I just read an interesting report on survivor.net with information from Charlie Gasparino. He was diagnosed a year ago and treated with “focal laser ablation to freeze and kill the bad cancer cells”. He says a year later he feels great and is cancer free.

He calls PCa the “silent killer” and related a story about a friend who “let his PSA rise and cancer fester and ended up dying” of advanced disease.

Overall, I found it to be well written and excellent information about screening and the various tests he had. It also explained the importance of cancer survivors in the social circle including his wife with BCa and another reporter, Neil Cavuto, who had blood cancer. Contrast this public figure with Secretary of Defense and you will see what leadership from public figures looks like.

Actually this was first reported in March 2022, one month after his dx. He did a six minute interview on the Neil Cavuto Show and provided great detail about the diagnosis and treatment. It is complete with pictures of him in the hospital. He also reported it in his weekly column in the New York Post. I encourage you all to watch it. It is very informative and he stressed with men to understand their prostate health.

I found it in a link to a report by A.J. Katz on March 28, 2022 in adweek.com that includes the news clip simply by using Google. As I struggle with links, maybe 81 can help again. It is one of the best reports on a personal experience with PCa that I have seen and shows true leadership by a public figure.
