While websurfing for information on best prostate exercises the other night, I came across a site that stated
"Dancing, like any form of exercise, can have a positive impact on the prostate gland. Regular physical activity is generally beneficial for overall health and can help maintain a healthy prostate."Well, it certainly seemed like a reasonable claim. Wouldn't it seem that many of the muscles utilized in dancing motions would be located in areas near the prostate, and, when exercised by dancing, benefit the prostate and its surrounding regions?
So I asked MBAI (Microsoft Bing AI)
Is fast dancing good exercise for the prostate gland? and got this reply, a sentence of which I have boldfaced:
"Yes, fast dancing can be beneficial for prostate health. Regular physical activity, including fast dancing, can help maintain a healthy prostate and even alleviate some prostate-related conditions.
However, there isn’t specific research indicating that dancing directly affects the prostate gland. But it’s important to note that a healthy lifestyle, which can include regular exercise such as dancing, can contribute to the prevention of conditions like Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), a condition where the prostate gland enlarges and can cause urination difficulties.
The American Cancer Society also recommends engaging in moderate-intensity aerobic exercise such as brisk walking, jogging, swimming, or cycling for 150 to 300 minutes per week. Additionally, strength training exercises two days per week using body weights, resistance bands, dumbbells, or fitness machines are also recommended.
Remember, before starting any new exercise regimen, it’s always a good idea to consult first with your healthcare provider
That person can provide guidance based on your specific circumstances and health history."Re the above boldface, it's true, I haven't been able to locate a whole lot of web discussions about
how specifically dancing as exercise may be good for the prostate, except for a few passing references.
But someone on an exercising site did comment:
“Don’t underestimate the power of dancing. Music will definitely change your mood and help light up those endorphins in your brain. People who hate exercise often don’t mind dancing.”The Prostate Cancer UK organization thinks it's a good idea:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zflfsfxfboqWith the moves that guy is putting on, his prostate must really be getting a
great workout!
So working out on a treadmill machine or such will probably get the job done as far as exercise goes, but groovin' on a dance floor with one's honey has
got to be a lot more fun!
In closing, how about
even more fun?
Namely, post below, if you would like, what you think would be an especially good rock song to dance to for prostate exercise purposes.
Perhaps any fast dance rock song would do, actually, but see if you can come up with one which has especially the kind of energy, rhythm and beat to it that really seems good for exercise purposes.
Of course one can always google
rock music exercise videos youtubeand get a bunch of websites offering fast dance possibilties for this purpose, but suggesting one's own is more fun!
Post if you think you know a good one!
Here's one that I'll suggest, one I thought of which struck me as having that special kind of energy, rhythm and beat that does contribute to a really good exercise workout!
