iTIND and BPH

I don’t know if the iTIND treatment for BPH has been talked about here before. If not it seems it has been around since 2020. It has been used in place of the TURP procedure. It is a temporary implantable device that reshapes the prostate and shrinks it by killing off blood cells. The procedure takes only a few minutes. Sorry if this has been discussed here before. I just wish it was available before my TURP. I can’t provide the link which I read this morning, but it mentioned King Charles and his bringing prostate awareness in the news.

The article is a little screwy by bringing King Charles into it. He obviously had a different procedure with a hospital stay and this procedure would not find cancer anywhere unless by accident during scans or whatever they do to qualify a patient.

The iTIND procedure looks like a fancy dilation procedure. It will be interesting to see how long the procedure holds up. Looks like it is approved in US also.
