Ryne Sandberg says he is cancer free

I read he was diagnosed with metastatic PC back in January. After 8 months of treatment he says his scans show no sign of cancer. There was a picture of him ringing a bell. I have no idea what treatment he went through. He did tribute his success to early intervention and said that getting checked out was very important.

Hey Jack,

Sandberg was a machine at 2nd base. Too bad he was stuck with the Cubs all those years. I sometimes watched Cubs games on WGN with my Dad back in those days.
