Eligard “bump”

A quick question.

I get an eligard shot every three months in my buttocks area (they switch sides).

My last shot was 7/11.

Does it leave a palpable bump? How long does the bump last?

I had several Eligard injections, always in the abdomen next to my navel. They always left a bump the size of a large marble and took several weeks to dissipate. My doctor told me this would happen. I’m surprised your doc didn’t prepare you for this annoying side effect.

They may have initially warned me JNF, but I do not remember.

I had a serious issue with a liposarcoma 15 years ago in my left buttock area so i check for bumps now and again around that area. Last week i felt this bump.

So i sent a note to the pca dr asking which side they injected, and how long a bump should last.

I also sent a note to the dr who was following me for my liposarcoma. I have a meeting with him on Thursday. You do not mess around with sarcoma.
