Some goldie-oldie tunes with titles suggestive of Halloween themes.
To enjoy on a pre-Halloween Friday!
"Monster Mash" (Bobby Pickett, 1962) :

And last, but certainly not least,
"I Put a Spell on You" (Creedence Clearwater Revival, 1968) :

So whether it's going to a party or whatever, have a BOO-tiful Halloween, everybody!

I loved Warren Zevon (who died much too young) and Werewolves of London. He was a talented song writer with a style very much his own. I think Zevon’s “Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner” could also fit into the Halloween theme. 🙂

What came to mind for me was the album “Shock: Music in Hi-Fi” which has some great screaming by Gertrude Warner (AKA one of those who played Margo on the “The Shadow” radio series.) I have this album in vinyl.

He also did a Halloween album, “Panic, The Son of Shock”

I highly recommend this stuff if you like the exotica music genre of the late-50s, early-60s. After Halloween, follow it up with some Martin Denny like his “Exotica” album.

SPOOK-TACULAR!
This past week, some volunteer compadres & I went to a volunteer event, to pack up thousands of "backpack sacks" ~ filled with essentials ~ for Iowa students in need.
It was a Halloween-themed event. Everyone who showed up in Halloween costume received $100 to donate to the charity, at the door. I dressed as a goblin, with a black mask & black cape & axe. I was the greeter at the door, with a pumpkin bucket filled with treats for every volunteer.
Our shift was sponsored, so every bag we packed that night "generated" financial donations for the charity.
During the evening shift, Halloween songs & music played ~ including many of the songs listed in the above posts.
It was a fun & very meaningful volunteer event for all.
