on/off sore throat a thyroid symptom???

Recently diagnosed as hypothyroid (tsh = 6.04), but I have been dealing with a sore throat that comes and goes (usually around for 3 -5 days then gone for 4-7 days, then back again). Saw an ENT and tried 10 days of antibiotic, but it did not help.
Just wondering if it could possibly be attributed to my thyroid??

I do not think its thyroid related but I could be wrong.

I am no doctor ,I guess you should talk to your doc who gives you hypothyroid medication to confirm your fears.

Sometimes sore throat can be because of other things.

consult with doc.

Yes, most defiantly. Ive had that and it went away when I improved my thyroid levels. This happened several times when I was hypo from not enough thy med.
