My husband finally was offered a job after being off for 7 months! It's a terrific job and they actually found him...it wasn't one of the hundreds of jobs he applied for! He had his resume on a job search site, and apparently the HR dept. can put in certain key words...well they did and his resume popped up. So all is good! I'm so amazed at how well he kept his spirit up; he is an amazing person...I know...a little bit of mushy there, but hey I'm really proud of him. ;-)

Wow so posting resumes on those sites can actually work. Congratulations, that is great news.

Ha, we were beginning to wonder the same thing too, Ack. He actually had a spreadsheet of all the jobs he applied for and to which companies. Frustrating to say the least!

A spreadsheet! What a smart way to organize things. I will keep that in mind for future.
