Thanks Joy! I usually work from home, so i had hoped to do it 3-5 times, but my work schedule is off this week (I'm at the whim of someone else's GI tract, and didn't want to use a 12 hour old sample). I may revisit and do a 5 day trial in a few weeks once I'm at home again. I'm so glad you've found success (you're one of the reasons I tried it)!
BTW - what anti-inflammatory foods have you found to be most beneficial?
Yah. I agree about
not wanting to use a 12 hour old sample.
The fecal transplantation worked so well for me that I thought I was cured after doing it. But I got another flare after having to be on antibiotics three times. That flare went away with probiotics.
After I did the fecal transplantation, my poo returned to what it was like when I was young and I no longer have IBS. So even though I had that flare after having to be on antibiotics again, my poo is still way better than it was before I ever did fecal transplantation. In fact, it looks just like it did was I was in my teens and early 20s. Fecal transplantation really did save my colon.
I've heard of others having great results from fecal transplantation, but then they disappear soon afterward. I also heard of others not getting any benefit from doing fecal transplantation. So it doesn't work for everyone. I haven't heard of anyone being worse off though.
I really hope it works for you.
I find turmeric and ginger to really help calm my colon and keep my poo in perfect condition.
