Humira Pen or Syringe?

If anyone is taking Humira please let me know if they prefer the auto injectors or syringes and why.  Thank you.

     I am starting Humira next week.  The doctor ordered the pens for me.  I am not familiar with this at all but it can't be worse than the Remicade.  My veins are so poor that the nurse had to stick me seven times at my last infusion...ugh.

     Sweetie...it sounds like you are having success with Humira but you are also on Imuran.  You think it is the combo?  My doctor took me off the 6MP two weeks prior to starting Remicade. 

I use the pen too and find it very easy. I have not used the syringe, but I would imagine it is more difficult. My nurse said you really only need to use the syringe if you are very thin.

Christine, I am having some success with Humria, but I am also still on Imuran. My GI said he will wean me off the imuran if the combo is working and see how it goes.
I had been doing really well with the humria, but I got my period at the weekend and i feel a lot worse since that. I am really hoping that is all it is and i will even out again once it is finished.
