I tell ya, I never know what kind of BM's I'm going to get from one sitting to the next, or all in one sitting like you suggested! It's like there is no rhyme or reason.
I have experienced situations where I ran to the bathroom and had the explosions of D, mucus, etc., that smelled soooo toxic and strong that you could just faint from the horrid smell. I have no idea why sometimes that happens and other times it doesn't. I'm guessing it has to do with the food you eat.
However, that particular time, I had a grilled chicken salad with Balsamic Ving. dressing. Probably not the best thing to be eating during a flare, but it was the only healthy thing on the menu as to where I was at the time. But, other times, I've had that exact same meal and no problems at all!
Now, I just posted another post about
how it's hard to tell if you have something else going on top of your Colitis, like a flu bug, or something, that could be what you had, or maybe you just ate something bad and it's gotta get through your system.
It's probably best to load up on liquids today and eat soft foods to give your colon a break until this passes. Who knows, in another few hours, you might have some other kind of BM situation, LOL, it's always different for me all day long, every day.
