Remicade Questions - 3rd infusion still flaring

my first two infusions went well but this past week and a half i've noticed i am still going to the bathroom a lot. does that mean the remicade isn't working? stressful... :/

I believe it can take longer than that to begin working

Nope. My doctor told me that most of his patients feel better after infusion number 3. :o)

Little confused. Did you do better after first two, and start to flare again after this third one?

It can take more than 3 infusions to work on some people...others it works after one infusion. If nothing has changed by the 5th or 6th infusion, then it may not be working and your dr. may talk to you about upping the dose and coming in every 6 weeks instead of 8.

I just had my second infusion I dont feel any different. It can take months unfortantly for it to really start to work my doctor said :-( and i'm still taking my other uc meds which i thought i wouldnt have to anymore :-( wasnt happy about that.
