OT: Snow in October!

Maybe your annoying neighbour will get stuck out in the snow somewhere and give everyone in your building a peacful break LOL!

Not looking forward to the snow, I hate being cold and I hate driving in that icy mess, nothing worse than having to poop in the port-o-potty in the back of my van during winter because everyone has to drive so much slower during winter time...D-E-P-R-E-S-S-I-N-G!!!

I just seen on the news that some areas already got up to an inch?! The snow missed us too but I know we will get hit eventually. The last time it snowed here(with accumulation) on Halloween was when my son was a baby 20 years ago. We have had snow off and on thru out the years on Halloween but not like that back in '91 - pretty sad when you have to shovel your walk for the trick or treaters and even then you can't see their costumes because they were bundled up in parkas!

     Saw on the news this morning there were several accidents, some fatalities, on RT 95.  Can't remember whether it was Delaware or PA.  I live in south Jersey, exit 3 of the turnpike, and all we got was some freezing rain during the day yesterday.  Enough to make me stay home.  Hope everyone was able to get out for their chicken wings and toilet paper .

It's scary seeing on the news the impact of such a storm. Some have been without electricity and it won't be back on for another week...I don't want to imagine what that would be like.

So far, no snow here...and hoping it'll be a long while till it's here for good. I don't mind winter, like the cold, actually...but the way the weather's been as of late, it's possible anything can happen.

Don't I wish, pb4-- she has just been a devil-on-wheels for months now! In fact, our downstairs neighbor told me last week that he is going to complain to bldg management about the noise she makes because he can hear it in HIS apt. 2 floors below!!!!! GRRRRRR! We finished out Sat. with 2 inches of snow in Manhattan (NYC), but some places in NW NJ got 19 inches! NSSG-- where are you with all the sunshine? Actually, the sunshine here today got us back to 40+ degrees so snow is melting, TG. / Old Hat (30 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)
