somedude, i think as long as you don't eat a lot of meat, eggs, dairy, then the alkaline foods you do it will balance your body out. personally, i think SCD and Paleo are a death sentence because the majority of these diets are inflammatory. who would want that??

the SCD, but paleo diet is anything but inflammatory. A true paleo diet should not be just *meat*, as meat is not meat. It *depends on what the animals are fed*.
Meat from Vons or where ever is definitely going to be corn fed> high in omega 6's> not terribly healthy> and tend towards inflammation.
*Grass fed* meat (much more akin to what paleo peoples were eating) will be much higher in omega 3's, and lower in omega 6's, which is typically considered a low-inflammation diet.
Same goes with eggs, dairy, fish etc. Wild salmon--> healthy, omega 3's. Same species of salmon farm raised and fed corn and other crap--> nasty! Same species of fish, VERY different nutritional profiles of their fat!
IT MATTERS HUGELY WHAT THE ANIMALS ARE FED!!!!! You are what you eat, so are they.
