Hi Michael-
I found some info regarding Sherry Brecia as follows:
"Great Taste No Pain author, Sherry Brescia, was a former Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) sufferer herself. In fact, in 1991, she spent 7 days in the hospital with bacterial colitis.
As a health insurance researcher and Chief Underwriter, she was able to research the benefits of an alkaline- balanced body and over the next 15 years perfected the system she now calls Great Taste No Pain.
She meshed a number of philosophies proven to help alkalize the body to create this simple system that anyone can follow regardless of where they are or what food choices they have available to them."
I have benefited greatly from information that I found at the cureforulcerativecolitis.com website, especially concerning supplements like slippery elm, etc.
Ms. Bresia has cited several publications from which she has gathered information. After all, most of the "new" diet books contain a lot of info that was originally published early in the 1900's.
I did get a lot of free tips via e-mail when I signed up for something at that site but when I cancelled, they soon stopped coming.
Both InSoFla and I have suggested that people take a look at the info at cureforulcerativecolitis.com. Everyone has the option of using such info or ignoring it. We are adults here and can make such decisions.
What makes you think you're qualified to make such pronouncements and "report" contributors to this forum who are only trying to offer help to fellow UC sufferers. Qualifications, Please?
