It has been awhile

So, i am finally off the pred(as of this week) and I am going D alot more.  I am still on the remicade and they are trying to figure out why I have easiaphill(sp?) colitis and what is causing it.  They said most people dont have this in their colon.  It is usually in their esphogis(sp?). The doctor sent me to an allergist and she said that food doesn't cause this so there is no reason to even test me.  Either another drug  or something enviromental is causing this.  I was put on the pred and syncular for this.  I am still on the syncular but not the pred any longer.  I hate pred I go crazy on this and worry and worry and go off on everyone.  Ugh!!! Well, I am going D alot more now and I am just disappointed.  I see my doc on the 25th and we will see what she says.  The allergist said she thinks maybe the remicade is causing this.  The doctor says maybe the remicade isn't working fully because I have this.  Ugh!!! No one knows.  I just don't want my summer(which is packed with stuff) to be wrecked.  My uc has been under control for a couple years since i started the remicade in 2009 but I don't think it is going to stay that way.  I am getting more urgency and i think it is just a matter of time before I get bad again.  If I get anything like I was before I went on the remicade I will do the surgery but I don't want to. I hate uc and all the worrying that goes with it.  I have three field trips this week with my kids and I had volunteered before I got bad and now i am so worried.  Even the immodium doesn't seem to help as much. Ugh!!! I HATE UC! Also, my lovely mother in law is coming for a week in July and we are going to macanac island in michigan which is about an eight hour car ride.  Well, I don't want to have any accidents with her in the car. Ugh. I also have to worry the whole time we are there because no bathroom being acessable some of the time. People without uc just don't get it. 

I hope you're able to get back on track quickly. What will you do if you have to stop Remicade? Have you discussed with your GI? Have you tried antibiotics? I hope your MIL doesn't make you too stressed. I hate that kind of stuff, so much worry for no good reason. Can you take a separate car maybe?

notsosicklygirl-I will probably try humira and maybe methotrixate with the remicade was another one the doctor said but I don't know what else there is after that.  She keeps saying you don't have many options left(really?!).  Since the remicade isn't working I don't know if she will let me take the methotrixate with it or let me just try that on my own.  Otherwise, Humira. I don't know what else there is after that.  I think the other biologic that starts with a C.  I guess i could try that also.  Maybe I will get a few more years like I did with the remicade.  I guess i have to wait and see. I am do for my remicade tomorrow and i usually get alittle worse before that.  so, hopefully I get the infusion and I am fine.  I am not super bad but compared to that I go on the pred it is more.  The pred is great for my symptoms but not my mood or weight lol.  I went so far today about four times which isn't super bad for me.  Before the pred I would go about 3-6 times a day with just the remicade.  Like the doctor said my problem is my symptoms seem to stay the same so we thought my scope would show no UC not my whole colon inflammed with moderate to severe uc and then the eospiaphills.  So, it is hard to tell with me.  Ugh!! Yeah mother in law is not good but hopefully she behaves.  The the last two times she came she was okay.  So, I am hoping she is this time.  But a whole week with her is along time. She is lucky I am off the pred when she is coming because I wouldn't be able to control my temper. lol

I haven't asked her about the antibiodic treatment but I have asked her about fecal transplant and ldn she won't do either.  She said right now there is to much of a risk with fecal transplant and ldn she doesn't know enough about.  The antideppresent I keep going back and forth on.  I want to take one but I don't. I have a prescription but have never started it.
