I more or less wanted to give y'all an update. As most of you know, I have had a heck of a time with my Uc. I was bordering on making the big surgery plunge. So I started on Remicade as my last resort. It was my golden ticket. I have now been in remission for about
6 months - so my summer has been AWESOME!!
The only thing I don't like about
Remi is that I bruise soooo darn easy! I just had another infusion yesterday and the Iv lady blew a couple of veins - I look abused!
I just got back from a motorcycle trip with my hubby and a couple of friends. I live in MI so we traveled to northern MI and toured the countryside - we literally went everywhere! Not once did my Uc give me grief.
I still have diverticulosis and that bothered me a bit but it wasn't bad.
I also wanted to let you know that I am going to be MIA for a little bit. I am having hand surgery tomorrow. I have trigger finger (this is where the sheath surrounding a finger tendon tightens down and locks the finger, usually in a bent position). I have trigger finger in almost all of my fingers and I have already had this done once before. I also have a cyst on my tendon sheath so I am having the trigger release and cyst removal tomorrow. Unfortunately it's on my right hand and I'm right handed. That means no computer mousie for me! So I won't be online much and I thought some of you would want to know. Because I have received emails wondering where I've been! lol
