Leaving where? you can't leave, UC will follow you everywhere. Stay here with me...and banana girl.

I hate this place too. But it is what it is.

People suffer like you. We're all on similar boats. Unfortunately, UC wise, we don't have it as good as Insofla or Fruitgirl.

oh andrea. i've felt like you have before and it's a terrible feeling. i think you will miss the forum but do what makes you feel best. we all want the same thing- to be healthy. just know i (we) are here for you to talk to and we support you in whatever you decide.

Your post sounds like a cry for help. Don't let this disease drag you down. You have to fight. Please talk to someone...family, friends anyone you are comfortable with. I was in a very dark place at one time with this disease and thank goodness my family and dear friends pulled me out and made me take a hard look at my situation and make some difficult decisions.

I thought you were going to start LDN as soon as you tapered off prednisone.
There was a lot of discussion about it last month.

Did you get the LDN?
And, why would you not try it?

I was in your shoes once. I was depressed, feeling like I would never see the light. But don't let UC define you. We are here for you if you decide to stick around or come back. But I feel it's important to be able to discuss this with people that can understand...friends, family or us. Don't hide your head in a hole and hope that this will blow over if you just stop everything. You need to find the courage to take control...yes it's hard but we all have a resilience that most people don't have. And yes, you have it too whether you believe it or not.

Please stick around and let us help you with this battle.

Andrina... this disease sucks. I won't try to make you stay or tell you what to do. But here are some experiences I've had...

-Cried myself to sleep multiple times during my first flare living on my own. I slept on the floor next to my dog just to have her sympathy at least.

-Had a friend cook me dinner and take me out to a movie when I was feeling like the world didn't care at all (prednisone made me very sad).

-Couldn't work a construction job after diagnosis ten years ago, though I wanted to. Worked at a shoe store for minimum wage since it had a bathroom and I could use it whenever... and could rest at work.

-Had a moonface that made me look like a family guy character the year I began college. I felt alienated, bipolar from the prednisone then too, and like there was no hope. I had my whole future ahead of me, and it felt hopeless, and so lonely.

-Had to do online dating since it was hard to get out to meet people. Multiple times the girls texted me wondering where I was... and I was in the bathroom.

-I've had to make the choice to take drugs that could possibly kill me. Those are very scary and lonely times, too.

Whatever you do, and wherever you go... just try to remind yourself that there are multitudes of other people either going through what you are going through, or who have been through it.
