WBC and prednisone

Has anyone had a raised WBC count from prednisone? My WBC count is 18,000. They have tested me for every infection they can think of. I have seen an infectious disease doctor. Normal is about 10,000 my personal normal is about 12,000.

I'm so stressed out. No one can figure out what is wrong with me. I am starting to think I might have Lupus as well. I just want answers.

Mine was real high also. I was even tested for Leukemia... Got off pred, it went away.

I just found out that on Monday mine were 14,600 then Wednesday over 18,000.

Now they want me to go on Levaquin and Flagyl. I just don't know what to think I am so sick of no answers and only more questions. Do you guy think three VSL 3 DS a day will be enough?
