Hey everyone-
Just wondering how everyone is doing on Humira?

Update for me. I seem to be getting symptoms again about4 days before my next shot. Doc has ordered them to be taken once a week. Suppose to take one yesterday, but developed a yeast infection from all the sitz baths I am taking. I still have little to no side effects except that my vision is a little more blurry and my eyes burn more than they used to. Not sure if it is because I am getting old or if it is the Humira. I am going to the eye doc a week from today to make sure all is Ok. Other than that, my UC has been pretty managable. 3 bm's a day all in the morning is the usual. Mostly formed, but they are still urgent. I do seem to have a little more time to get to the bathroom than I used to, but would love to "be normal" again. I will take it though-way better than before. Anyone else having eye issues?

therearemiracles-you warned me about the yeast thing....any advice to prevent this from happening again? I am not taking the baths anymore, and have added garlic supplements in. anything else?

glad you are making some progress. I got some eye issues before Humira. My eye was red, and the eye doc says it's from UC. I was prescribed pred eye drops. Ask your eye doc dilate your eye so he or her could also see the back of the eye. I'm going to ask my doctor to start uceris, since another forum member says she is seeing result.

I actually have had a doubling in my eye prescription - but I am wondering if it's due more to the Prednisone since June...  So far there hasn't been much improvement for me in the IC area but my arthritis does return at the 10 day post- injection
