Are they good or bad for UCers? I know people with gout eat them for inflammation, but I'd not know if it would help our inflammation.

Ive been eating them all week in my smoothies. They are quite delish.

good for inflammation & gout = maybe

good for frequent visits to the white bowl = without question

worth it = absolutely !

it's just an annual ritual - and living in the cherry capital of the world, required enjoyment

I'm just looking for some snack alternatives to chips and cookies since I am about to spend a week with 18 teenagers. I tolerate mandarin oranges well so I have a bag of those. Figured cherries might be good too. Just made some homemade muffins. The week will be a test on my gut since fast food seems to be the menu...last time I ate fast food was probably March and that was only 1 meal.

BAD for me.

Lord, I don't even have 'normal' when I eat them. Love them like you wouldn't believe, but sometimes pit fruits just don't go well with UC.

I find carrots and cucumbers don't bother me. A bit of salt and I'm happy.

Oh my gosh, I just found Terra chips at Sprouts or Whole foods -get them!!!!

I can have way too many at a sitting...yummy. I would have some discomfort many hours later if I have them on an empty stomach. (remember the too many part)

no biggie, however.

If you like them, have them. If I remember correctly, a while back someone was cured from cherries...so there you go. It's conclusive.

Q, I think that was black cherry concentrate.

I love cherries! But I limit how much I eat of them or they increase bm's.

The Rainier cherries are my favorite!

And when they are in season, I make sure to enjoy them.

Thanks for the clarification Sherry....

I love all cherries...amazing how each batch I get from whatever store tastes totally different.
Rainier cherries are great!

I love the ones that have good bite/crunch and refreshing sweetness....not fussy or anything! lol.
