If you had to choose one food that was the worst for UC....

Onions or alcohol make me feel really bad, but I'm not sure if that is UC or IBS.

Scratchy foods make me bleed more.

I take tons of supplements. As a general rule powders are more free of additives and capsules have fewer fillers and additives than tablets. I try to absorb as few additives as possible. Always check labels.

The first 16 years of my life my family ate macaroni and pasta (gluten) almost every day. But i did not become gluten intolerant until my mid 50's.

The last 40 years of my life i tried to eat lots of fruit and vegetables especially something cruciferous almost every day. Now i cannot tolerate anything cruciferous at all. Even a spoonful of kale or broccoli etc. Will immediately send me to flarestown.

No foods really bother my UC, but onions and rare steak give me crazy gas!

imagardner, I did that too. I bought the superior source brand and it has lactose. I have it sitting right here next to me on my desk, LOL.

I do really like thorne products, too. I find that they have the best formulations. They have a really good b complex with all the bioavailable forms of b.

A slice of bread is the worst for my UC. Remission beforehand and a toilet full of blood the next day and I have consumed a slice of bread on a number of occasions (months apart) and the result is always the same.
