On TV I'm watching (not listening) the QVC channel and their special on now is called "Heartfelt for the Holidays" - showing Christmas items!!

Ah the heck with Halloween right? So I went with it and got out a Christmas album from storage and lit a Christmas candle from storage.

C'mon UC'ers get with it. Break out the CHOCOLATE!!

Screw it lets just go straight to Valentine's day or Easter decorations. After all, I mean the order and timing of holidays seems to make no difference anymore, anyways, right?

I LOVE Christmas! But I am not someone who wants to see all this stuff until at least November and I don't put out Christmas stuff till after Thanksgiving but it could be Valentines day before I take it back down. That always depresses me.

I used to put a Christmas tree up in my bedroom as a child six months before Christmas. I would start making gifts for people and be really in the mood. Haven't done that in years now... but I get it!

Also... one year I dressed up as Santa for Halloween. There were a lot of mean candy-hander-outers that year that told me I was too early. LOL

I'm not a fan of christmas coming early because it means its cold, but Downton Abbeys back on TV, the adverts are all perfume based, so best embrace a blanket and cosy nights in soon. Until then, I need halloween costume ideas...

Imjust they do that all over here in Phoenix. People put up autumn wreaths on their doors, or scarecrows/hay in their front lawns. It's sort of like a pre-Halloween fall colors decoration.

Hey, I like the idea of dressing up as Santa Claus for Halloween!

wait, wait- forget about Christmas candy 'til we get thru Halloween. Someone at work was just talking about how they've already started shopping. I don't even have any ideas! Fall decor is big in New England too, that whole Harvest thang... cornucopias, apples, squash, gourds... indian corn!

I always have loved Thanksgiving. Four days off work, no presents to buy, no stress. Halloween - meh. Christmas is exciting and wonderful, but I've scaled back drastically because for years all the excitement and wonder didn't gibe with my exhaustion and despair.
