For the last 3-4 days running, I've had a single poop a day. Something that hasn't happened on consecutive days since before I aquired uc. Must be all that turkey, or probably the remicade. Don't anybody use that 'r' word because I really don't want to jinx this.

I can't wait for that day. Second remicade infusion coming up in a few days. I'm hoping that does the trick.

Lol thanks Soyman and Gary for both the laugh and well wishes. After such a long string of good days, I did end up having a bad bm day today, however, it hasn't got me down even in the slightest; still in high spirits. It is amazing what the average Joe on the street takes for granted and how us uc-ers can wait nearly 2 years (in my case) in order to achieve it again.
Lr21, I hope the remi works as well for you, as it has for me. Remi is what has gotten me this far, not pred, rectal meds, or anything else has been able to heal me this much in either the past or present.
I actually can't wait for my next scope which is scheduled in a couple weeks, if things remain like this then it might just be the 1st good scope results I've ever had. The results from the last one I had was severe inflammation from zero to 70 cms.

Congrats! I too have had some poop improvements the last few days, & I was wondering if it was turkey and mashed potatoes and pumpkin that was doing it lol. There are such a variety of factors that have changed the last month for me that I really have no idea what it could be still pondering whether to continue with Remicade or not since I can't definitively say that is what is helping right now but if nothing else I have changed my attitude in the last week and that seems to be making a difference! And hooray for getting excited about
poops, I actually had one that was formed and the size of a finger and had to tell my mom of course... lol... I'm sure she appreciates my bowel updates. but hey, whenever that occurs during months and months of liquid and mush it is a big thing!
