Could flagyl be sucking the energy out of me? I don't think I was this bad before starting it 4 days ago.

You have a systemic infection that your body was fighting. As you heal you get more tired. Sleep more if you can so you can heal more.

I've been on Flagyl many times, it didn't make me more tired than I already was, my bet is that Remi is making you tired based on some others that have complained Remi has made them feel that way.

Don't overlook that the disease itself can cause fatigue.

I agree with suebear. I'm in remission and still exhausted all the time. Winter is of course worse because of the lack of sunlight. Right now I have a stupid cold that just makes me want to crawl in bed and sleep the day away. Unfortunately that isn't gonna happen.

I was always exhausted when I was on Remicade. UC itself wore me out anyway too plus I was always anemic. Have you had blood work done recently to check your hemaglobin/iron levels?

I think the disease as a whole makes you tired - physically and mentally. I was on Flagyl for a bit too, definitely did not like it. It left me nauseous all of the time with that strange metallic aftertaste. Blech. Hope you feel better soon!
