Ok,,,My son who has colitis, read that Vitamin K helps people with colitis because it helps the absorption of nutrients in the Colon,,,so now he started taking 100mg capsule once a day.
Has anyone ever heard of this,,,,He is a picky eater and won't eat salads so hopefully this will help. [code]

that's not really a proven property of vK. It primarily supports coagulation, when, if ever needed - as it is rarely deficient. In fact, people who take warfarin/coumadin (fake vK or vK antagonists) for hypercoagulability, need to avoid veggies that contain vK. Or something...
