I agree with Sibby. I suggest starting @ 1.5 mg and working upwards to a dose that works for you. Listen to your body.

I was on Imuran. Had to go off because it greatly lower my WBC and platelets and stunted my bone marrow. Never on biologics because it would probably do the same thing.

Yes, it put me in remission. Zero inflammation. LDN and paleo helped me get there. No other supplement or medication.

Iffy as in it might bother you but not others, or vice versa.

I was off of Imuran for more than a month and I was starting to see a few signs of symptoms coming back. I started to see them go away maybe about a month, but that's because I was on the lowest dose at the beginning.
I did have nausea and loss of appetite when going up a dose - let's say 1.5 to 1.7.

I haven't been strict with my dosing lately, which shouldn't happen. So I'm down to 2 mg. I'll have to slowly go back up to 3 mg, since I'm having issues sleeping if I raise it too much.

I dissolve a 50mg pill in 50 ml of water, then I just use a syringe and take it that way. Much cheaper.

Thanks Stereo! I am so tired of being in a bad flare, I am willing to do whatever. It will be very interesting to see if this works. I just got my last fecal calprotectin results in and I am 1560 so we will see what happens. Did you try the oral liquid first and then switch to transdermal? I hope I made the right choice selecting the oral...

Somedude, my bowels haven't been this 'steady' since starting LDN. Typically they are wonky, sometimes formed, sometimes not or sometimes I have reason to panic thinking about the onset of a flare, but not now.

I wanted to do the sachets pmedic, but my prescribing doctor strongly recommended transdermal LDN as the skin is the most absorbent organ in the body. I'm sure the oral LDN will be great. Best of luck.
