Ultimately, if it is found that MAP is able to cause disease, or even just aggravate disease in Crohn's patients, governments would be forced to deal with it on a farm and food production level. And this, over time would reduce our individual environmental exposure to it. If all of a sudden Ulcerative Colitis patients see improvement either by the vaccine or reduced exposure then all of a sudden there is something to really focus in on for once...
So no matter what, personally, I just see potentially great benefit to UC people from anything that may come about
from the vaccine and other research into it. Perhaps even a fresh look at these diseases.
